A more sturdy substrate option to paper, this medium-weight board is tough enough to accept several mediums on one board. It is ideal for colored pencils, pastels, charcoal and graphite. The cold-press surface provides a soft yet gritty tooth that holds pigments well. The boards are buffered to an alkaline pH to slow the aging process.
